The coast road along the Amalfi Coast, the passes of the Swiss Alps, the vineyards of Bordeaux or the empty glens of the Scottish Highlands all reward the freedom to stop whenever the view asks you to. We arrange car rental across the UK and Europe, from a small car for city-to-countryside trips to a convertible for the Riviera.

Cars can be delivered to your home, hotel or the airport, and collected at the end. One-way rentals between cities, or across borders, can be arranged on request; they often carry an additional fee, which we will show in your quote.

How it works

1. Tell us where and when you need the car, where you will return it, the type of car you would like and the number of drivers.
2. We send you options with what is included, for example insurance cover, mileage and any extras such as child seats or a satellite navigation system.
3. Once you confirm, we arrange delivery or collection and send you the details.

If you would like help with the route, we can suggest where to stop, where to stay and where to eat, or build a full self-drive itinerary with hotels booked along the way.

Good to know

• Drivers need a valid driving licence and usually a credit card in the main driver’s name. Some countries and rental companies ask for an International Driving Permit, and minimum age rules vary.
• Many European cities restrict cars in their historic centres, with low-emission zones or limited traffic zones (ZTL in Italy). We will warn you where this applies.
• Switzerland and Austria require a motorway vignette, and several countries have toll motorways. Rental cars in those countries usually come with the vignette, but it is worth checking.
• In the UK and Ireland, you drive on the left.

If you would rather not drive in a big city, we can arrange for the car to be delivered on the morning you leave town, and returned before you arrive in the next one. It saves on parking and on the stress of finding your way through an unfamiliar centre.
