Luxury Yacht Charter

Catamarans, motorboats, sailing yachts, gulets and superyachts — crewed, skippered or bareboat.

  • Across 37 countries
  • One point of contact
  • Clear, itemised quotes

A week on the water shows the Mediterranean at its best: quiet bays reached only by boat, harbour towns in the evening light, a swim before breakfast. We arrange yacht charters for a single day or a full week, on everything from a sailing yacht for a couple to a crewed superyacht for a family celebration.

Types of charter

  • Crewed charters, with a captain and crew who sail, cook and look after the boat. The most relaxed way to spend a week at sea.
  • Skippered charters, with a professional skipper while you look after yourselves on board.
  • Bareboat charters, for experienced sailors with the qualifications required by the charter company and the country.
  • Day charters, for a few hours along a coastline, often with lunch on board or at a beach restaurant.

Boats

Catamarans are stable and spacious, which makes them a good choice for families and first-timers. Motor yachts cover more distance quickly. Sailing yachts are for those who enjoy the sailing itself. In Croatia, Greece and Turkey, the traditional wooden gulet offers generous deck space and a crew, ideal for groups. Superyachts bring hotel-style service and toys such as jet skis and paddleboards.

Where

  • Croatia: the Dalmatian coast and islands around Split and Dubrovnik, such as Hvar, Brač, Vis and Korčula.
  • Greece: the Cyclades, including Mykonos and Santorini, the Ionian islands and the Saronic Gulf near Athens.
  • Italy: the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Sardinia, Sicily and the Aeolian Islands.
  • Spain: Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.
  • France: the Côte d’Azur, from Cannes and Saint-Tropez to Antibes, and Corsica.
  • Montenegro: the Bay of Kotor.
  • Further options in Germany and the Netherlands, including lake and canal cruising.

How it works

  1. Tell us the area, dates, number of guests, the type of charter and the style of boat you have in mind.
  2. We send options with what is included. Many charters quote the boat separately from running costs such as fuel, food, drinks and marina fees, often paid as an advance against expenses. We will explain exactly how it works for each option.
  3. Once you choose, the charter agreement is made with the boat’s operator, and we can add flights, transfers to the marina and hotel nights before or after.

Who it is for

Families and friends who want a holiday together without the crowds, couples marking an anniversary, groups celebrating a birthday or wedding, and companies looking for a memorable incentive day.

Typical requests

  • A week on a crewed catamaran from Split for two families with children.
  • A day on a motor yacht from Sorrento to Capri and along the Amalfi Coast.
  • A gulet cruise through the Cyclades for a group of twelve.
  • A sunset charter from Cannes for a corporate group during an event.

If you are new to chartering, a crewed catamaran is a comfortable place to start. The crew know the local anchorages and the best places for lunch, and will adjust the route to the weather and to what the group enjoys.

The sailing season runs mainly from May to October, with July and August the busiest. Booking early gives the widest choice of boats.
